Step One
Contact LBblue Bespoke Drawing Services to arrange an initial visit to your property to discuss your ideas for your proposed building project.
Step Two
After the visit we will send you a fixed price fee quote for producing a set of plans.
Typically a set of plans will include:
- Site location plan and block plan
- Layout plan and elevations as existing
- Layout plan and elevations as proposed
- Section and construction notes
Step Three
Should you wish to proceed, you pay us a deposit (refundable if the survey is cancelled 24 hours before the survey date), after which, we will arrange a convenient time with you to complete a measured building survey of your property (this enables us to produce your plans); depending on the size of project this can take between 2-6 hours to complete.
Step Four
Once the plans are drawn up, we will contact you to discuss them and finalise the design.
Step Five
Pay the remainder of the fee due and your plans are ready to submit to the relevant authority for a Planning application and/or Building Regulation application.
Once the plans have been approved by the authority, we will send you a digital and paper copy of the drawings. You can use the plans to give to building contractors to achieve a more accurate cost and give you, the client, better cost control for your building project from the outset.
