Karen Rolfe, the founder of LBblue Bespoke Drawing Services, has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and has worked in both the public and private sector. She started out as a trainee Building Surveyor. She found her niche in producing drawings and qualified as an Architectural CAD Technician. Her qualifications include BSc in Building Maintenance Management and BTEC HND in Building Studies.
Karen has worked for Architects practices, Building Surveying practices and Shopfitting Contractors across Kent and East Sussex. For the last ten years she has worked for an Oak Framing Company based in Old Romney. There she was involved in Listed Building applications, drawing up joinery details and frame manufacturing drawings.
After ten years in Old Romney, Karen decided to work closer to home and set up LBblue Bespoke Drawing Services. She now helps homeowners with small building projects by producing professionally drawn plans for obtaining planning permission and building regulation approval and to help the homeowner achieve a more comprehensive, competitive price from the building contractor.
